How to Measure your Space

Supplies you need:
- Measuring Tape
- Grid or Lined Paper
- Pencil

1. Begin with drawing an outline of your room. Include doors, closets, and windows indicating the direction in which they open. Measure the length of each wall in segments, starting and stopping where windows and openings are (see diagram). Please ensure your measurements are in imperial units (feet & inches)!
2. Next, you will measure the heights of doors and windows starting from the bottom of the floor to the bottom of your window sills. Then measure the height and width of each window (see diagram). Be sure to indicate which wall from your floorplan you are drawing in case there are multiple walls and windows. Lastly, include the ceiling height of the space.

3. Finally, include copies of your measurements along with clear images of each wall and the overall room in an email to our team!
A bar stool usually measures between 29-32" from the floor to the seat, making it perfect for tables that are 41-43" high. A counter stool is typically 23-28" from floor to seat, which suits tables with a height of 35 to 37 inches.
